:I've got a '93 Z that had a NA (automatic) to TT (5 speed) swap. I bought a TT instrument cluster to swap also. I know that aftermarket boost gauges are better but that is not what this thread is about. I installed (oem-like) white gauges which involved removing the needles. Now I did my research and was very, very careful removing and reinstalling the needles. It went well. I installed the cluster yesterday to test it. Everything worked great except the speedometer. stuck at zero. Other than the possibility i did damage while removing the needles, what are the other possibilities and options? Oh, and I also made the mistake of not testing this cluster before I modified it. : :
The speedometer on the NA cluster I removed worked fine. Cruise control is still functional and pwr steering is fine, and no HICAS light which tells me that the speed sensor is good.
